Throughout undergraduate and graduate education, worked at Urban Peak, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Mile High Council, and Senior Support Services serving Denver's homeless and marginalized populations. 5/2015 — present.
Alix Midgley, Director of Case Management
Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago, with a primary focus in poverty, trauma, and social change. Seven years of experience with the homeless and chronically homeless in Chicago, Denver, and Durango. Experienced in trauma therapy, community organizing, case management, and program administration. Alix is passionate about restoring the sense of dignity and belonging of the most vulnerable. 10/2014 - present.
Ted Pascoe, Executive Director
Masters in Business Administration. Eighteen years experience managing nonprofit organizations, three years experience in policy analysis and government relations, and three years experience managing political campaigns. Responsibilities: manage center, supervise staff, raise funds, track expenditures, and work with board of directors. 9/2003 – present.
Melissa Rapp, Case Manager
Six years of experience in the nonprofit sector, focused on retaining or obtaining housing for those most in need. This included two years in Americorps, and then two years for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. In Vermont, worked as Residential Staff for Spectrum Youth and Family Services and in the homeless prevention program of Committee on Temporary Shelter. BA in History, with a minor in Professional Education. 6/2015 — present.
Julie Romero, Day Center Manager
BA degree in Family Relations, with 24 years experience in human service program management. Sixteen years managing programs working with chronically mentally ill adults, and developmentally disabled parents. Eight years experience managing programs providing assistance to low-income and homeless families and individuals. Over 20 years experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers, as well as fundraising and resource development. 1/2014 — present.
